Student discounts without the paperwork
RamenID helps software companies offer student pricing. A student verifies with their school email in under a minute, and a single-use coupon is created in the company's own payment provider.
Why we built it
Most student discounts are run by hand. Someone checks an uploaded ID, emails back a code, and that code ends up on a coupon site a week later. The alternative is an enterprise verification service priced for companies far bigger than most indie and early-stage teams.
We wanted something in between: proof that a person really has a school email, a coupon that only they can use, and nothing to maintain. That is RamenID.
The name is a nod to the meal that gets most students through exam season.
What we care about
Collect as little as possible
A school email and a six-digit code. No ID uploads, no photos, no card details. The less we hold, the less there is to lose.
Your provider, your coupons
Discounts are created directly in your Stripe, Polar or Dodo Payments account. Nothing to reconcile, and nothing locked in with us.
Simple enough for a small team
One link or one API call. Set it up in an afternoon, then forget about it until the students start showing up.
